This finance operations dashboard puts import health, overdue alerts, and four operating numbers on one dark screen. The four numbers cover net, items needing review, cash across accounts, and outstanding invoices. The dashboard is shown with sample data.
This is a studio build, designed and built in-house, shown with sample data.
What had to exist
An operator needed one finance screen for three things: the state of the import, overdue alerts, and the four numbers checked during operations. The design problem was hierarchy: status, exceptions, and operating figures each needed a clear place on one screen without shouting over each other.
The dashboard puts all three in a dark interface. Import status, an alert banner, and the key metrics share the same view.

The import-health decision
Import health sits as an operating status on the dashboard itself, right beside the finance figures. If the import is broken, the numbers under it can't be trusted, so hiding the status on a settings page somewhere was never an option. The operator sees the health of the data and the data in the same glance.
The alert decision
Overdue items get an alert treatment: a banner that creates a separate level for anything needing attention, inside the same screen.
The hierarchy is the feature. Alert above, status alongside, metrics below. Each type of information keeps its own role, and nothing gets to bury the thing that needs action today.
The four-number decision
The main metric band holds four operating numbers:
- Net
- Items needing review
- Cash across accounts
- Outstanding invoices
Four. Not fourteen. The band is limited to the numbers the operator actually checks, which is what makes them readable as one group instead of a wall of tiles nobody looks at.
What shipped
The studio built a finance operations dashboard with:
- Import health
- Overdue alerts
- Four operating numbers on one dark screen
The published dashboard runs on sample data and makes no claim about client operations or measured results.
